A negotiation project and an individual oral presentation are course requirements. In choosing a topic, understand that the core objective is to enable each student to reach a better understanding of negotiation and/or dispute resolution. The major objective of this exercise is to aid you in developing your own negotiating philosophy. Preferred topics are subjects in the real estate or construction management areas or in the application of a discipline such as economics, game theory or psychology to the negotiation process or an analysis of the negotiation dynamics of another society.
