Sharing Industry in a Post Covid-19 world…
Before the pandemic, Companies like Airbnb, Uber, Lyft, Bike and Scooter sharing companies were growing so quickly that local governments were having problems dealing with their growth (Beardsley, 2023).
COVID-19 accelerated some of these changes and forced these companies to find new ways to stay afloat. e.g. Uber, Lyft expanded into meal/restaurant delivery.

Instagram & Travel
Do (2018) writes about how Instagram has affected travel. People increasingly travel to destinations based on seeing them on Instagram and other social media.
They look to duplicate the pictures that have seen, and the experiences described.
Sometimes, this has meant that too many tourists descend on a place and in doing so, change the nature of the experience.
In the summer of 2019, I traveled with my family to Banff & Lake Louise in Canada. I have been to these destinations many times since the 1960’s. This time the experience was very different. Too many tourists meant that I could not enjoy the quite beauty of the place that I had expected.
If you are part of the travel industry, Instagram is your essential tool Bullock (2020).
